The VV Team has made an enjoyable visit to the Changchun ATC Station in Jilin, China to discus ATC training and other competencies.
The impressive Tower, which features a waterfall mural, houses the Approach and Tower training centres. We were given a tour of the training facilities as well as the ATC Tower and radar simulation capability which was state of the art.
Like most airports in China, Changchun is experiencing significant traffic growth. Plans are being made to invest in more infrastructure to support the increased complexity and traffic levels.
We were warmly received and look forward to visiting again.
