PATTS VVSIM Installation Page

This is an alternative method of accessing the VV Simulator online without the use of a ClickOnce installation. It creates a permanent copy of the simulator on the user's computer, which is launched with a web link or URL.

First download and install the simulator from the link below (size 11 MB). This only needs to be done once.

Latest version: 8.10.0, updated November 18 2020.

Download VV SIM

You may need to approve the execution of the program> In Windows 10 this will require you to click More Info and then Run Anyway on the installation dialog. Other Windows version will require some kind of approval. The software has been digitally signed.

Run the following link to launch the simulator:

The simulator will download required data and run automatically. If this succeeds, other exercises may be run from the links provided below. Note that there is no further need to download the simulator from the first link above.
