The Visual Vectoring team has released an update to the VVStack course, strengthening its coverage of Arrivals Management (AMAN) concepts. As with all Visual Vectoring products, practical application remains central to the training, with the update incorporating screen-captured simulator demonstrations to illustrate how AMAN techniques are applied in context, such as shown in the video below.
The simulator exercises have also been updated to improve realism and instructional value, including scenarios focused on arrivals sequencing, general holding, and the management of aerodrome closures. These exercises continue to emphasise decision-making, prioritisation, and traffic management under constraint, objective feedback and reporting provided by the simulation.
In addition, metric simulation is now supported, enabling training and assessment in environments where metric separation and level allocation are required.
As with all Visual Vectoring products, the VVStack AMAN training is designed to provide hands-on, autonomous simulation that exposes trainees to authentic tasks and performance outcomes, supporting both initial training and targeted refresher use.
