The Visual Vectoring development team have completed testing of the latest upgrade to the VVSIM ATC Simulator, which features significant functionality improvements, as well as some minor bug-fixes and cosmetic changes. The most notable new features include:
- Upgraded Networking API for performance and trajectory data uploads.
- Implementation of a custom scoring algorithm to allow specific deductions to be set based on client grading requirements.
- Upload of Transcript and Exercise Event information.
- Upload and archiving of session audio.
- Additional Human Machine Interface performance monitoring.
- Manual selection of Auto-release mode for Terminal Area simulation.
- Capability of saving randomly-generated exercise for reuse.
The new version will be rolled out to our clients, starting with the University of South Australia, over the next few months.
